Trust

Trust

Trust is important because it helps people feel safe and

comfortable, knowing that their trust won't be

exploited. Without trust, any social interaction is difficult

because you can't know if someone has bad intentions.

Trust also helps build better relationships.

Trust in the Lord and do good;

Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Psalm 37:3

Commit your way to the Lord,

Trust also in Him, and He will do it. Psalm 37:5

Trust in Him at all times, you people;

Pour out your hearts before Him;

God is a refuge for us. Selah Psalm 62:8

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

And do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

There are 78 verses in the bible that talks about Trust.

It is hard to speak of trust in a world filled with

deception. It is hard to trust when you have been

misled and taken advantage of. Life experiences often

drive us to put up walls and to hold back our trust. On

a daily basis, we find things we cannot trust, but deep

inside we want to trust.

What is trust? Psalm 112 describes a person who has an amazing

relationship with God and one of the facets of this

relationship is trust.

He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast,

trusting in the LORD. (Psalm 112:7 NASB).

Hebrew: (batach), often translated as “trust,”

expresses an idea of hope, reliance, and confidence.

Our spiritual “reliance” on God (bitachon) is not

necessarily based on our past life experiences. Rather,

like one’s faith, this “confidence” (bitachon) shapes

our experience and reality moving forward. Relying on

God and His goodness, His involvement in our lives,

and His protection when we receive “bad news” is

what gives a person the ability to trust and move on.

Trust is very important to God ‘Do you trust Me?’

What part of your heart have you not trusted God with?

It may be time to evaluate your heart and have that

conversation with God.

Do you trust you? Do you trust your decisions?

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. This is whereI have to ask

Holy Spirit to help me. This is how I grow and mature.

Everything in me wants to trust, but part of me

doesn’t know how. This is where healing can happen,

just ask Jesus to heal these area’s, area’s in your

heart, mind, and body.

We should have discernment (sometimes our gut

feelings) to know when to trust and when not to trust.

I have had to learn to trust in many situations.

In learning this, I learned to honor other’s opinions.

God honors and trust who we are, what we do, who

we are becoming. If God honors and trust us, why do

we not honor or trust ourselves.

When He gives you an assignment, He is trusting you

will complete it. Have you completed your

assignments from Him?

We must complete our assignments before He will give us the next one. Let

me put it this way, have you completed what He has

asked you to do?

I believe for 2023 we can not enter 2023 leaving assignments

undone or leaving undone what God has ask of you. We can not bring the past with us, that weighs us down. We must be free from the bondage

of our past in order to accelerate into the new of

2023. This may be a battle but there is Victory in this

Battle.

I do not want to stay stuck, neither do you. Move

forward and become all that you can be for our

Creator - God.

One step at a time, just keep moving forward.
